Robert Pattinson-FKA Twigs engagement news affecting Kristen Stewart?

"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson and singer FKA Twigs are reportedly engaged, a piece of news that has once again sent media outlets unearthing the actor's past relationship with actress Kristen Stewart.

Rumors have it that Stewart isn't happy about the engagement. After all, she and Pattinson dated for years but he reportedly did not propose to her; whereas he and Twigs only started going out since September last year. Stewart allegedly thinks that Pattinson is getting back at her for her past indiscretion — having gotten involved with "Snow White and The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders — which ultimately led to their breakup.

However, according to PEOPLE, she has moved on from her relationship with Pattinson.

"Kristen is doing fine, working and traveling, and she will survive Robert's engagement. She has her own life and has moved on," a source for PEOPLE said. "Kristen lives a much more low-key life now and seems happier."

It's quite unsurprising that Stewart wants to have a low profile. After all, she has been in the spotlight since she got the role of Bella in "Twilight," and the media haven't stopped following her every move since.

Nevertheless, following her stint as a human-turned-vampire in the film adaptation of the romance fantasy book series, the actress has been engaged in a number of projects, such as "Still Alice" and "Camp X-Ray." For her role in "Cloud of Sils Maria," she became the first American actress to win a Cesar Award (French version of the Oscars), having brought home the 2015 Best Supporting Actress title.

In her most recent interview, she told the Associated Press, "I'm having more fun now than I ever have."
