According to rumors, DiCaprio and Rihanna have been dating since the start of their newly-found singlehood. But further rumors state that this isn't the first time the two shared a fling.
According to Hollywood Take, the two have been hooking up for the past years, particularly when the two were single. This time, DiCaprio allegedly took the initiative to text the Barbados singer.
"After his breakup, Leo started texting Rihanna again. They decided to have some fun. Neither one is looking to make this anything more than fun. He's into her, and they're enjoying it," a US Weekly source shared.
There might be some truth to this information as Rihanna and DiCaprio have been seen at a party recently, but reports that the two locked lips again were slammed by a source.
"No one was making out. They are just friends. That's it. There was a big group dancing. Tom Hardy, Naomi Campbell and a bunch of other people. Everyone was having a good time together. Maybe a little bit of friendly flirting, but no scandal here," an insider told E! News.
Weeks ago, when Rihanna's name was dragged into the Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran issue, a source close to RiRi said that the pop singer is looking for a more stable man and someone who is not in the same industry. As for DiCaprio, it is known that he likes dating supermodels. Perhaps, the two want something new now.
Meanwhile, there's no word from RiRi's and DiCaprio's camps about this friendship or romantic relationship. But, anyone can take this new development both ways. A British magazine reported that DiCaprio actually introduced Rihanna to her mother and her mother "loved Rihanna instantly." Was it a best friend kind of introduction, or was it the-girlfriend-introduced-to-mom kind of meeting?
