Richard Sherman calls Tom Brady a 'Fake'

Let the trash-talking begin!

As we gear up for a highly anticipated showdown between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, one player has fond memories of 2012 when the two teams met. The player in mention is no other than Richard Sherman.

Sherman doesn't think highly of quarterback Tom Brady and stands by his rant that Brady is a fake. Brady carry an immaculate and clean-cut image for most but Sherman knows that all of that is pretty much different especially on the playing field.

Trash-talking is nothing new but what is hyping the coming match is the dark cloud that shrouds the impending meeting. And this has something to do with the celebrated deflated footballs which seems to point in penalties for the Patriots. Penalties which may not matter at all since any sanctions will not impend the coming meeting between the two clubs.

In 2012, the Seahawks defeated the Patriots 24-23. But an alleged confrontation wherein Brady told him to see him after the game apparently got Sherman's ire. The two did meet after the game with Brady opting not to respond.

The famous words "You Mad Bro?" were thus born. Sherman even went to the extent of creating shirts that bore the slogan "U Mad Bro?" apparently directed at Brady.

As far as Brady is concerned, he blamed it all on Sherman. But as far as saying that he wanted to meet Sherman after the game, the quarterback completely forgot about it.

Hence, it makes you think on whether Sherman is trying to play the mind games on Brady before they do meet up. Will it work? Apparently such is to be expected to quite an important match.

The two teams meet in Glendale, Arizona on February 1 and these side rants are bound to continue before the game officially kicks off!
