'Revenge' season 4 episode 1 premiere: Emily and Victoria's first conversation

"Revenge" Season 4 may be a new season, but Emily and Victoria are still at it with their old fight. They still play the blame game, even when Victoria is held captive in an asylum for the insane and Emily is enjoying her victory at the Greyson Manor.

Well, clearly, the war isn't over between Emily and Victoria. And by the looks of it, Season 4 will start a whole new war between the two. Emily is still hurt by Aiden's death and Victoria is hurting over Pascal's death. The sneak peek video really sets the tone for Season 4.

"Renaissance" is the first episode of the season. The sneak peek is all about Victoria calling Greyson Manor and trying to find someone to rescue her. Emily answers the phone, and the two have a heated debate about who needs to suffer more and who deserves it more, too.

Victoria blames Emily about Pascal's death, but Emily reveals that it wasn't her who killed him – it was actually Conrad. Victoria is dumbfounded. When the conversation ends, staff in the asylum enter Victoria's room, and it looks like they are going to sedate her once again.

There are some weird parts too. Victoria calls through an iPhone.  How did she get it? Also, at the end of the conversation, Emily tells Victoria that she wasted her call, and then the guys come in.  Does Emily have a contact inside? But how could she have notified them so fast about the call?

Meanwhile, there are other questions to ask as well. Where is David Clarke in all this? In the season finale of Season 3, he killed Conrad Grayson when he was released from prison. In Season 4, fans of the show are excited for David and Emily's reunion, but by the looks of the sneak peek, David hasn't contacted his daughter yet. Will he even let her know he is alive?

The long wait is almost over. "Revenge" Season 4 will air on Sept. 28. If you miss the premiere episode, be sure to watch it online via live stream on ABC.
