The official date of Black Friday 2017 is Nov. 24. It is tradition for Black Friday to take place after Thanksgiving celebration in the United States. People are excited to see the various promotional sales offered by major retailers. For many years, it has always been the same routine for consumers — frenzy shopping. However, retailers are redefining their approach to Black Friday to widen their offers and target market as well.

Best Buy's Black Friday date is Nov. 23 to 24, giving shoppers two days of mega sale shopping. Amazon is also pulling all the stops to improve their services given that their business operates online. They offer several discounted products ranging from 20% to 65%. The online commerce company will also provide free two-day shipping to customers. Walmart is urging their shoppers to engage in online shopping this coming Black Friday. According to their online announcement, the retail company offers the "convenience of shopping online."

Retailers or companies are offering specific products to consumers. Target has already posted the discounted price rates of the toys and home furniture they offer. Costco is also going big with their electronic and video game products this year. This is good news for gamers because PlayStation 4 Pro was just released and Microsoft's Xbox One X will hit the market on Nov. 7. However, there is no confirmation whether these gaming consoles will be included in the discounted products offered by Costco on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

All retailers and shops are building up for Cyber Monday on Nov. 27. Most companies are enhancing their online shopping platform to provide better access to shoppers on Cyber Monday — is a marketing scheme to keep up with the growing usage of the Internet.

These companies are encouraging consumers to make a list of the products they want to purchase and to keep their transaction history credible.
