Reality television star, Shannon Beador from "The Real Housewives of Orange County" has been struggling with some weight issues recently. Shannon's figure is something important to her, more so since it would appear to be one of the factors as to why she and her husband, David Beador, have been drifting apart. The reality television star expressed her grievances regarding these issues in public.

In a report by E News, Shannon went to consult her mother in the recent episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." She did so in order to ask for advice regarding her steady gaining of weight, and how to keep her relationship with her husband, David. It would appear that Shannon is not fully aware of how she gained so much weight, and at this point, she can barely recognize herself at all after. Shannon has gained about 40 lbs.

Shannon cannot help but think that her drastic increase in weight is what disenchanted David from being with her, and constantly blames herself for it. According to People, Shannon is too afraid to ask doctors about her weight gain, since she is anxious on what they might find after examining her closely. It can be surmised that stress is also what is keeping Shannon on edge regarding the whole thing, since she and David have been trying to fix the marriage.

In a report by Radar Online, they stated that Shannon could just be ready to give up on the marriage altogether – being that the two are clearly unhappy even after renewing their vows in last season's "The Real House Wives of Orange County." It has been reported that the two have been fighting constantly, and what the audience sees in the reality television show is "just the tip of the iceberg."

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs every Monday night at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
