This week, "Prison Break" season 5 returns for its second episode title "Kaniel Outis" and it is going to be eventful. Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) tries to break out from Ogygia, while Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) discovers something shocking from Paul Kellerman (Paul Adelstein).

A synopsis for the episode has been posted on TV Guide. It states that Michael, together with a cellmate, will attempt to escape from Ogygia Prison, the place where he has been hidden for many years now.

Michael was previously thought to be dead. It was in the TV-movie special titled "The Final Break," which wrapped up the series back in 2009 before it returned for season 5 this year, that Michael allegedly met his end, from being electrocuted. Viewers did not actually get to see him die and only got to see a memorial stone. However, it was revealed in season 5 episode 1 that he is indeed alive after having been imprisoned for seven long years.

Sara, one of the many people who thought he was dead, was surprised to see a very much alive Michael. She has began investigating how this came to be. The episode synopsis also states that Sara's investigation leads her to the State Department and a reunion with Paul, who drops a bombshell on her.

The revival of the hit drama series was well received by long-time fans, and new viewers as well. Its premiere last week brought in 3.8 million viewers, according to Variety. However, despite the high ratings, show creator Paul Scheuring revealed that this season will be the last of Michael's story, unless another network picks up the series' following seasons. He said, "Until I, or someone else, can come up with something that's really worthwhile for the audience, you have to say goodbye to these people."

"Prison Break" season 5 airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on FOX.
