Presidential polls 2016 updates: Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton is a close fight

Current leader of GOP billionaire Donald Trump maintains his strong presence in New Hampshire, while Jeb Bush seems to be losing his during the early voting based on the new Sept. 6 NBC News/Marist poll.

Trump and his closest rival governor John Kasich are apart by 16 percentage points, and the former has 28 percent likely Republican supporters having his back.

Dr. Ben Carson places third, garnering 11 percent of the votes, while Bush slides down to fourth place with eight percent.

It appears that Bush lost almost 50% of his supporters in the Granite State since July when he placed second to Trump, 14 and 21 percent, respectively.

Bush's presence is also losing strength in Iowa where his support drops down by half, based on the NBC/Marist poll. Back in July, he was in third position with 12 percent; now, he only has six percent of Republican voters.

Meanwhile, in another poll conducted last Friday by SurveyUSA, it appears that Trump is in a close fight with Democrat leader Hillary Clinton, with 45 percent and 40 percent, respectively.

The poll also revealed close fights between Trump and Bernie Sanders with 44–40; VP Joe Biden by 44–42; and former VP Al Gore by 44–41.

Trump making his way ahead of Clinton has brought a dramatic change in the polls. Back in June in a CNN/ORC survey on national voters, it found that 59 percent favored Clinton while 34 percent chose Trump.

The same poll in July saw Clinton losing her support with 57 percent while Trump is rising with 38. Last month, the former secretary slid all the way down to 52 percent with the real estate mogul steadily rising to 43 percent.
