Premier announces new media award finalists

The finalists to Premier’s Christian New Media Awards have been announced.

The shortlist has been drawn up from hundreds of entries to this year’s awards, which takes place this year on October 14.

The awards, now in their fifth year, aim to encourage and reward innovation within the Christian community, and commend those using new media to reach out to the world.

Finalists include Dr Peter Saunders, head of the Christian Medical Fellowship, who is in the running for Best Christian Blog, and Biblefresh, up for the Best Christian Organisation award.

The awards will be held once again in the beautiful Wren masterpiece, St Stephen Walbrook, also known as the ‘Internet Church’.

The panel of judges includes the Bishop of Buckingham, the Rt Rev Alan Wilson, whose own blog is ranked 17th in the Wikio religion and belief rankings.
