The popular first-person shooting game by Blizzard, "Overwatch," has come up with a new character of Irish descent. The name of the character is Moira O'Deorain, who is classified as a support character and a welcome addition to the ever-growing roster of the online game.

In a report by Entertainment.ie, Moira is voiced by Irish actress Genevieve O'Reilly, whose resume includes doing voice work for the "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" movie as Mon Mothma. This gives fans of the game a familiar and distinct voice to listen to as they brave the battle maps of the game with their teammates. In the lore of the game, Moira used to be a Talon scientist, which is where she got most of her bionic abilities from.

As it turns out, Moira's back story is also tied with that of Reaper's, which is unsurprising given that Blizzard has explained in the past that the stories of the "Overwatch" characters are intertwined with each other.

In an in-depth character analysis by Destructoid, Moira seems to be a "hit-and-run" type of character. Supports supposedly just sit back while the carries take charge of the offensive responsibilities in the game, but Moira is a little different. One of her abilities is called Biotic Grasp, wherein players will be able to choose between healing or offensive shooting beam by clicking right or left.

The healing capabilities of this skill has a meter, which is a feature that is there mainly to balance the game. Players will have to skillfully use either of the two in a timely fashion in order to properly assist their team. Her ultimate ability, as detailed by Joe, is an enhanced version of Biotic Grasp, wherein Moira heals her allies from a longer distance and for greater health, while damaging enemies at the same time.

Blizzard has yet to make an announcement regarding Moira's official release date, but they have stated that she will be arriving very soon.
