For a while now, there have been speculations that Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark from "Game of Thrones" will join "Outlander" season 2 as Jamie and Claire's daughter Brianna. However, Turner once and for all shoots down the reports.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she revealed that she heard murmurs about how perfect she will be as Brianna in the Starz hit series. "So people started talking like I was in it," the actress said, adding that even lead star Sam Heughan tweeted about it.

"I've never seen the show. I'm sure it's great, but I'm loyal to my one true love," Turner then said pertaining to the HBO hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones." Although she wouldn't be in "Outlander" season 2, someone from Westeros will.

Just recently, it was announced that Clive Russell, who played Ser Brynden Tully in the HBO series (last seen in season 3), will transform this time as Lord Lovat better known as The Old Fox. He is no other than Jamie's manipulative grandfather.

Author Diana Gabaldon, whose books inspired the series, wrote on her Facebook page that Russell will be "great" for the role. With The Old Fox around, fans can expect a lot of arguing between him and Jamie in "Outlander" season 2.

In the same post, Gabaldon replied to a fan about yet another rumor about Brianna's portrayer. She clarified that "nobody's been cast as Brianna yet" but she did not provide any other details about who the possible essayer of the highly anticipated character will be or when details will arrive.

In other cast news, rumor has it that a young Lord John Grey will show up in "Outlander" season 2 in the form of 16-year-old Oscar Kennedy. In his IMDB profile, the young actor, set to be in an upcoming movie "Elevator Gods," was listed to play the said role in the series.

"Outlander" season 2 premieres next year.
