OnePlus Two release date, specs rumors: A2001 the OnePlus Two Flagship Killer?

Have we finally seen the specs of the highly anticipated OnePlus Two?

It seems that successor to OnePlus One may have finally leaked out if reports of this alleged benchmarking test is actually the upcoming OnePlus Two.

A device under the model OnePlus One A2001 caused quite a stir lately and for the ones who keep tabs on model numbers, it seems that the difference in the model number has led many to be believe that this device is the highly awaited phone.

For the record, the OnePlus One carries an official model number of A0001 while the high end device which made its way to Geekbench Benchmark was OnePlus One A2001.

Now if this is indeed the OnePlus Two, then the specs should be something worthy to check out.

Among the features that the mystery phone had was a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and something that runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Somehow it does coincide with earlier rumored features as far as these fronts are concerned.

Before, rumors had it that the OnePlus Two would come out with a 5.5-inch display with (2560x1440 pixels) with the same aforementioned specs which will be backed by a 3,100 mAh battery.

So would these coincidental features indeed point towards the OnePlus Two?

Going over the benchmarking listing, it seems that there is another interesting device in tow and it carries a model A2003. It is believed that this could be another variant of the OnePlus Two though that remains to be seen.

For now, nothing has been made official on what the OnePlus Two will actually have to offer, though it was already mentioned by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau that the OnePlus Two would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and will be priced at around $400.

So will the OnePlus Two continue to carry the flagship killer moniker? We will see in a couple of months.

The OnePlus Two is expected to be launched by the third quarter of 2015.
