"One Punch Man" season 2 will be an interesting run for the series as not only will it feature the most fearsome enemy Saitama will face yet, it will also reveal the truth about a certain hero.

The anime is heavily based on the manga by ONE and Yusuke Murata, and it, for the most part, depicts it to the letter. This means that when the anime follows the manga, fans should get to know more about the S-Class Rank 7 King at the start of the season.

King was introduced in the previous season, but the character will be fleshed out in "One Punch Man" season 2, where he will be revealed to be a fake.

King has a reputation as someone not to be trifled with. Criminals and monsters avoid crossing his path, but it looks like he is not the hero everyone thinks he is, and this will be the case in "One Punch Man" season 2 as well.

The truth is revealed when he is confronted by G4, who specifically goes after him. Saitama eventually learns his secret but decides not to expose him.

Meanwhile, "One Punch Man" season 2 is also expected to finally see Garou, who was revealed to be a former student of S-Class Hero, Bang. He was kicked out of the dojo after losing control and attacking other students.

Garou was glimpsed when the Hero Association decided to seek the help of villains to take down the monsters attacking. He made his killer impression by taking down one criminal.

He is reputed to be the only fighter to survive Saitama's serious punch. Fans will see more of Garou in "One Punch Man" season 2.

In fact, they might not have to wait that long as it could happen as early as the second episode, following King's story.

"One Punch Man" season 2 will premiere sometime next year.
