The Japanese anime show by Toei, "One Piece" had already previously shown just how formidable of a force that Katakuri can be. In the 880th chapter of the manga, it has been reported that the creators aim to touch on this subject more, as fans will witness Luffy struggling to defeat Katakuri in the upcoming chapter.

In the next chapter of "One Piece," Luffy will still be figuring out ways to defeat Katakuri. According to The Reporter Times, it is quite possible that Luffy might have to tap in to his energy, and transform in to something that fans have never seen before. Another theory is that Luffy might have to come up with a new technique as he tries to figure out how to defeat Katakuri, since he is able to predict Luffy's moves and counter them effectively.

According to Mobi Picker, fans had already been astonished by Katakuri's ability to take some of Luffy's powerful attacks. After being hit by Luffy's signature techniques, Katakuri was still able to stand on his two feet, due to the immense power of Katakuri's mochi. It is expected that things will become significantly more intense, since Katakuri has not even fully revealed his capabilities in the previous chapters yet.

It is predicted that Luffy might even utilize his Gear Fourth ability, but it still might not be enough to put down Katakuri. On the other hand, Sanji, Pudding, and Chiffon will be arriving in Chocolatown, which is the capital of Cocoa Island. They intend to make Big Mama's cake, and they will be needing the ingredients in the location. However, they will run into problems with the authorities, and the group will be figuring out ways to get just what they need before leaving.

This will obviously be a side story to serve as a break between the intense battle between Luffy and Katakuri. Chapter 880 of "One Piece" is set to be available on Oct. 2.
