The Evil Queen (Lana Parilla) gives the residents of Storybrooke 12 hours to save their town before she burns it to the ground in the next episode of "Once Upon a Time" season 6, "Heartless."
The burden is on Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas), who the evil royalty gave a mysterious bottle to. The Evil Queen wants them to figure out what is inside.
The "Once Upon a Time" season 6 episode 7 promo teases that whatever it is that is inside can destroy the whole town. The pressure is on as the minutes and hours tick away.
If Snow and Charming fail to do what they were told, which the Evil Queen is extremely confident will be the case when the clock strikes their last precious minute, Storybrooke will be no more.
"See you in the cemetery soon enough. It's a good place for endings," she tells the Charmings with a sly smile in the upcoming episode's promo.
Fans are afraid that Snow and Charming will die trying to figure it all out. Some speculate that they could both bite the dust knowing that they share a heart, which is one of the most important and defining things about their love.
There is also reason to believe that such tragedy is on the table seeing that the title of "Once Upon a Time" season 6 episode 7 makes mention of a heart.
While "Heartless" could simply refer to the Evil Queen and her ways, it could also be the description of the literal situation Snow and Charming will be in by the end of the episode.
Despite the danger, the pair is determined not to let Storybrooke die, but they are clearly running out of time. As for the actual contents of the bottle, apart from the fact that they could "destroy the people of Storybrooke," they are believed to hold an undoable curse.
However, some believe that tiny bottle could also be their saving grace. Some speculate that a certain genie from the Aladdin lore might be involved.
But the fact that executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz said before that they will only focus on Aladdin, Jasmine, and Jafar for "Once Upon a Time" season 6, this may not be the case.
"Once Upon a Time" season 6 episode 7, "Heartless," will air on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
