The next time viewers see Emma and the heroes will be in a "Once Upon a Time" season 5 two-hour special, where the Dark One's horrible plan will finally come to light. In the last episode, no one was able to stop Emma from putting Excalibur back together, and so she moves on to the next phase of her evil scheme.

The forthcoming pair of episodes is titled "Birth" and "The Bear King," respectively, and both are set to lay out more details as to what Emma really has in mind. A promo for the special was recently released and it hints that there's no stopping the Dark One now.

"A startling revelation that will splinter their world like never before," the voiceover menacingly announces as brief shots of Emma's parents, Merida, Merlin and Rumple are shown one by one.

In the next "Once Upon a Time" season 5 installments, Hook will be blinded by his love for Emma. The promo initially shows them in a swordfight but the next scene sees them kiss passionately. "I love you, no matter what you've done," the pirate tells Emma with sincerity.

But Regina knows that she is merely manipulating Hook as this is "what the Dark One does." Nonetheless, it looks like Hook will insist on being with Emma, although him sticking with her could help him uncover what horrors she has up her sleeve.

"You really want to know the truth no matter how awful?" Emma tells Hook, who in turn does not hesitate to answer "I do." It remains to be seen whether or not Emma will actually let the love of her life in on the secret.

Meanwhile, the second part of the special is said to be related to Merida, judging by the title. As per Carter Matt, "The Bear King" will be an hour centered on the brave princess as she gets together with Red and Mulan in a mission

"Once Upon A Time" season 5 episode 8 and 9 "Birth" and "The Bear King" air Nov. 15 on ABC.
