The fast paced advancement of the PC has been versatile and solid, giving players multiple options for optimizing their systems. With the demand of system requirements climbing steadily, gaming solutions have been manufactured promptly to meet the needs of gamers. Nvidia has released a new driver update for graphically demanding new titles such as "Assassin's Creed" and "Destiny 2."

In a report by Gamespot, Version 388.00 was released to make sure that Nvidia video card owners can get the most performance out of running games like "Destiny 2" and "Assassin's Creed Origins." Additionally, since "Destiny 2" for the PC has been reported numerous times by players to have some issues, Nvidia owners should immediately download the update before installing the game.

Players of the PC version of "Destiny 2" have encountered some problems with SLI features for those who use multiple video cards. The new driver effectively bumps up the fluidity of the featured graphics at a steady 60 frames per second with 4k resolution, which is any gamer's dream come true. According to IGN, the Version 388.00 does not only benefit the aforementioned games, but other graphically demanding games as well.

These include "The Witcher 3," "Counter Strike: Global Offensive," and "Doom." The team over at Nvidia have not forgotten laptop users as well, since the driver also caters to those who have high-powered laptops. However, it is notable to mention that Alienware users with GM204 Maxwell GPUs will not be receiving their updates yet, but eventually will in future driver updates.

The news of Nvidia stepping up their game must be great for PC users, but they are not the only ones who are upgrading their services. Nvidia's direct competitors, AMD, have also been looking into ways to improve their graphics card drivers. According to Segment Next, AMD's RX Vega 56 has decisively toppled the opposing GTX 1070 of Nvidia.

This has prompted Nvidia to come up with a slightly better video card, with the GTX 1070 Ti, which is set to be released on Oct. 26. When it comes to raw power and performance, these video cards can reasonably handle the maximum or close to maximum graphics settings of the latest video game releases. This is especially important, since there are more titles that are scheduled for release before the year ends such as the new "Wolfenstein" game.
