The Nintendo Switch Nintendo

In an unbelievable turns of events, it seems that a feature for the Nintendo Switch were leaked accidentally by the company's CEO Paul Raines during Nintendo 's quarterly financials with the investors. Now that the upcoming console's motion controllers have been leaked, fans are certainly hyped up as some of the rumors floating around turned out to be the truth.

According to Game Rant, the Nintendo Wii's success with its motion controllers has motivated the company to focus heavily on the feature. However, for a moment it was unclear if the Nintendo Switch would carry on the legacy of its predecessors' motion controllers. As such, fans were  thrilled when Paul Raines gave statements which hinted that the console will support the motion control feature in some capacity.

Details about the motion controllers were revealed when Raines was telling the investors about the potential of the Switch to become more appealing to the Wii fans, hinting that the console's Joy-Con controllers will also double as motion controllers.

Raines cited that a motion-controlled game can be kid-friendly and that the motion controls will definitely give game developers the capability to do a lot of cool things when it comes to upcoming titles. With this, the speculations surrounding the Joy-Con controllers' function as a Wii-mote becomes a much stronger case.

Meanwhile, Gamespresso reports that these are still speculations, but their past two home consoles had the motion control features, and some of the patent documents for the Switch show that the console will definitely include them.

Regardless, Bethesda's Todd Howard praised the upcoming console in a recent interview. Howard said that he loves the Nintendo Switch and that he wants to play games on it. He even went so far as to say that trying it out was the best demo he ever had.

The Nintendo Switch will be released on March 2017.
