For legions of hardcore Nintendo fans, having video games exclusive to its systems is not enough. With the emergence of toys-to-life collectibles, completing all of the company's Amiibo products is also every fan's dream. However, such is the popularity of Amiibo that often, particularly for toy figures of frontrunners of Nintendo games, the stocks of the figurines are not enough. Especially true among those that were available for pre-orders, Amiibo were sold out even before they hit store shelves.
There's good news, though. Nintendo is aware of the popularity of Amiibo, so it announced recently that the company will be partnering with different retailers for a re-stocking of fan-favorite figurines. According to a tweet by Nintendo of America, Amiibo fans can expect retailer shelves to be replenished soon with different Nintendo figurines, namely Amiibo of Captain Falcon, Fox, Greninja, Little Mac, Lucario, and Shulk.
According to the announcement, the six Amiibo will be seen again at "select retailers soon," so it is still unclear if the figurines will be exclusive to the same retailers as when they were first shipped, or if Nintendo will partner with a big-name retailer for all six. When they were first announced, Greninja and Lucario were both exclusive to Toys 'R Us, while Shulk could only be bought at Gamestop and EB Games. In addition, as the announcement came from Nintendo of America, the new batch of Amiibo stocks will be available for North American fans. It is still unclear if Nintendo also plans to ship new Amiibo to Europe or other regions.
This is not the first time that Nintendo re-stocked Amiibo from retailer shelves. Early this year, Nintendo also restocked some select retailer shelves with new Amiibo of Marth and Ike from the "Fire Emblem" franchise and Meta Knight from "Kirby."
