The New Year is less than 24 hours away and it would mean another great year of technology and gadgets for tech enthusiasts out there. 2014 was big on gizmos, and stores are putting the best discounted devices on their shelves for everyone to score low-priced smartphones, tablets, computers and everything techy. Which are the stores to turn to? Here are some:

Apple has been on the forefront in the industry and the horde of aficionados of the giant firm would want to start the year with an Apple device in their hands. Thanks to January 2015 sales, special promos have everyone covered. While the company itself would not partake in the shopping bonanza at the year's open, resellers are.

Stormfront is one. The reseller has its deals live up to New Year's Eve. Users can get the powerful Mac Pro for £100 less. For the MacBook Pro, Stormfront slashed £70 off its price for buyers who eye the device. The store also took away £50 from MacBook Air's original price. A Thunderbolt Display is up for grabs with £40 discount. For accessories (excluding iTunes and Microsoft Office), prices are at 10 percent off. Lastly, a Stormfront Personal Trainer is at one's disposal for just £59.

Those who scour for promos in Shoreditch, London will find a couple at Hardsoft. All taking place in January, users who lease in December or January will snag along 1 TB Free Cloud storage via Livedrive. For MS Office, 2 TB Cloud backup and AVG, all it takes is an extra £1.40 shell out a week for Mac Business Bundle customers. KRCS is also a reseller of Apple products and it had offers fired up since Boxing Day.

John Lewis has treats for Apple lovers, too. There will be iPads, old and new. Also, the store has something else for tech lovers in general. It offers a £100 markdown on all the variants of the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Powerful cameras from Nikon and Canon are all on discount.

Amazon will ultimately take care of the tech fix come New Year. There will be Deal of the Day and Lightning Deals, which cater to every shopper's need. Ebuyer has Daily Deals refreshed every 24 hours. Users will most likely score discounted hard drives, laptops and smartphones. Shoppers can save £170.64 when they buy an LG G3 from the shop, which puts the smartphone forward for £299.99. It's to be delivered at no cost, too.

Also, eBay is quickly dropping stocks on discounted gadgets like tablets and LCD TVs so shoppers can head on to the site and shop to their heart's content before it all runs out. Gamers would love January deals by Game, which offers PS4 and Xbox One bundles for £299. Argos has one for the PS4 console alone for the same price. The retailer also removed £100 on Acer laptops and there are £100 to £150 price markdowns on Toshiba netbooks. Check them all here.
