New 'F1 2015' releasing to PS4 and Xbox One in June

Game developer Codemasters is working on the latest "F1" iteration and judging by the promotional images making the rounds, the game studio is doing a fantastic job. "F1 2015" is a "work in progress" but one cannot deny the rather extraordinary and intricately-detailed renderings of the racing elements essential to it.

One will be forgiven for thinking that the images from the underdone game are actual photographs, simply because the virtually restructured roadsters, remade race tracks and the weather that looms over the racing bouts and championships are crafted so scrupulously.

Considering that the images are only of the raw version of the game, one can only imagine how visually stunning "F1 2015" would be once Codemasters is done with its final build. The game, by the way, is being crafted with a new engine.

"F1 2015 marks an exciting new chapter for Codemasters and Formula One. It's a shift in direction for the game series, on new formats and our brand new game engine," director Paul Jeal said.

"Our improved vehicle dynamics much more accurately convey the difference in performance and the feel between mechanical and aerodynamic grip. The new Force Feedback system adds to the feeling of connection with the car and track surface. The more natural and realistic nature of the game physics also serves to ensure that the racing experience is more accessible, enjoyable and rewarding for players of all skill levels," Jeal further explained.

Codemasters also boasts the new tyre model for the game. It is also nonstop in bringing real-world physics in the game for a better, more real racing experience. "F1 2015" cars are tailored to adapt to temperature changes, wear, car set-up, debris and weather conditions for more realistic racing.

Moreover, the game is designed with voice recognition technology (powered by Xbox Kinect and PlayStation Camera), which will allow players to communicate with race engineers to ask about "race info, updates on the weather, tyre status, request tyres and even front wing changes."

At the moment, the developer is working on recreating new 2015 cars and drivers for the title. With the new engine running, Codemasters also reintroduces vehicles from "F1 2014," which was released to Xbox 360 and PS3 only, with more striking detail.

"F1 2015" will be the first in the series to grace current-gen gaming consoles and it will do so come June.
