A new gameplay trailer for "Need for Speed" was shown during Ghost Games and EA's stretch at the Electronic Entertainment Expo and it demonstrated just why the reboot of the game is highly-anticipated by many.
The game is set in a large open world rich in detail. It is undeniably a visual stunner, with its seamless shift from live-action to the actual game. It is difficult to distinguish the game's graphics from the real deal because of the graphical quality. In the footage, the newly-customized car tears through damp streets to join others in a race and eventually gets chased by the police and going off course. It shows the realistic depiction of a roadster in drizzly weather.
"Need for Speed," which is said to be EA's effort to combine the good things in the previous iterations and rolled them into one massive installment, offers the most comprehensive customization system the franchise has ever seen. Players can modify the paint in just about every shade of color there is; the wheels and rim, both front and back; license plate; and even the sound system, which will affect what gamers will listen to as they go about racing and making their cars look like a champion.
There aren't any new details about the cars in this game but EA has plenty of time to show off which roadsters players can race with as the game won't be out until November. It was already established, however, that the 2015 Ford Mustang, a RWB Porsche 911, a Scion FR-S, and a Nissan 180 SX will all be included.
"Need for Speed" will be out in the streets on Nov. 3 for the PlayStation4, Xbox One, and PC.
