'NCIS' season 12 update: Episode 13 to be pushed back, Cote de Pablo does not regret leaving show

"NCIS" villain Sergei Michnev showed that he is not playing around and he is dead serious with his personal vendetta. Also, the show isn't playing around when they killed off Gibb's ex-wife Diane in episode 11. In episode 12, Gibbs and Fornell were hot in pursuit of Michnev. What's going to happen next?

It looks like CBS is playing around with the release of the episodes because they will not be airing new episodes of "NCIS" anymore this January. For some, this is a surprising and odd move, but as Carter Matt pointed out, this is something CBS has been doing for the past years.

CBS doesn't want to air bulk episodes in late January, they prefer to delay it until February. And this is exactly what is going to happen to "NCIS" episode 13. Unfortunately, there are still no spoiler reports or preview for the next episode.

But his isn't the only recent news about the show. Cote de Pablo has finally spoken about how her exit from "NCIS" felt like, and if there's any possibility of her returning.

Fans had a hard time letting go for Ziva David, Pablo's character in the show. That is primarily due to the undeniable chemistry between character Tony DiNozzo and Ziva. Often referred to as Tiva, fans had to accept that Pablo did permanently exit the show and Tony would have to move on with another love interest.

In an interview with TV Line, Pablo said: "I think it was rushed. I would have liked a little bit of closure, but I think all in all I could not be more blessed, because I got a chance to be with my 'love,' Michael [Weatherly]. Any time you put Michael and I together, there's going to be a spark, and there's going to be real honesty, and for that I am forever grateful, because in that sense there was a sense of conclusion as far as what [they] felt for each other."

Will Pablo make a return? She just mentioned that it could happen "under the right circumstances" and that her ex-character's story can be explored further. That was pretty much it.

With or without Ziva, the series is looking good and it looks like Tony is doing well.

"NCIS" season 12 will be back with a new episode on Feb. 3.
