Despite the exit of Meredith Brody (Zoe McLellan), "NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 must go on.

Titled "Suspicious Minds," episode 2 of the new season will see Pride (Scott Bakula) get into much bigger trouble with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

In "NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 episode 2, Pride decides to rally round a former Navy Intelligence Analyst by the name of Elvis Bertrand (Tom Arnold), who is the primary suspect in a multiple homicide case.

From the sound of it, the special agent could potentially help a killer run free. However, the fact that Pride is putting his credibility, career, and reputation on the line suggests that there's more to the case.

Meanwhile, as "NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 officially bids Brody adieu, Tammy Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito) was added to the team, although the character did not experience the warmest of welcomes.

The newcomer immediately invites the suspicion of Percy (Shalita Grant), and considering the things that Ferlito revealed to Entertainment Tonight about her character, she might be on to something.

"Tammy has skeletons in her closet as well," the actress teased of her "NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 character, adding that these skeletons involve New Orleans.

"So she's fiercely trying to protect that because she feels like if they find out, then maybe they will think different of her or question her authority," Ferlito went on to say.

She added that her secret will be so "devastating" that a lot of people will suffer. This is also why it is a "heavy burden" for her to keep this secret.

Ferlito clarified that it is not her, but "somebody she was associated with" that is compelling her to act this way. Whatever it is, "NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 will reveal it in time.

"NCIS: New Orleans" season 3, episode 2 will air on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
