'NCIS: LA' season 8 episode 10 spoilers: Latest attack involving the mole provides major clue; Chris Donnell teases 'shocking' revelation

The next episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8, "Sirens," will bring the team (and the viewers) closer to unraveling the identity of the mole.

The infiltrator's next target is Callen (Chris Donnell), whose home, at least the front of it, was made into a crime scene when an unidentified assailant murders a couple of men.

Interestingly, the victims were walking around right in front of Callen's house, disguised as sheriff's deputies, and so, the team did not waste any time to investigate.

Having been a victim of the mole, along with Hetty (Linda Hunt), Sam (LL Cool J) vows to "find the head of the snake and chop it off" as he can be heard saying in the "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8 episode 10 promo.

The incident that happened in front of Callen's home gives the team new information to work with in finding out who is messing with them.

The killer of the two men was revealed to be female and could be the same one that was charging towards Hetty (only to be stopped by Sam) in the promo for the upcoming episode.

This woman will likely help the team figure out who the pesky mole is although the journey leading to that involves more than just capturing her.

"It's a multi-episode situation," Donnell tells TV Guide of the mole storyline, adding that it is "really well-done" and going so far as to say that the script for the second episode "may be one of the best scripts we've had."

He said that it was "clever," although the "NCIS: LA" season 8 episode in question is not so much about resolving it but "starting to get a peek" at who the mole could be.

"And I think it'll be shocking for the fans. There [are] some twists and turns that you really did not see coming. Having been around for 180 shows, I usually know what to expect, and this one was pretty clever, I have to say," Donnell gushed.

Executive producer R. Scott Gemmill told TV Guide that the team will learn who the mole is by the end of the season.

"NCIS: LA" season 8 episode 10, "Sirens," airs on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Soho is not exempt from freedom of speech and Christian expression. And Christians do not lose their fundamental freedoms when they cross an invisible boundary into a neighbourhood associated with a different worldview. The streets of London belong to all of us, writes Andrea Williams.
