March Madness 2015 bracket predictions: Gonzaga, Northern Iowa, Utah to make it to NCAA Final Four?

NCAA March Madness

March Madness 2015 is still a month away but when it comes to predicting which of the teams will make it into the Final Four, it  should pretty easy based on their seeding.

However that doesn't mean that surprises can't happen along the way. Teams which are not favoured don't have poor lineups too despite not being touted among the favourites, thus opening scenarios where upsets could happen. It has happened before, so higher seeded teams cannot let their guard down.

Now which teams should the favourites be way of? Here are some of them, strutting their wares magnificently during the regular season though it remains to be seen if they can sustain that heading into the post season.

Gonzaga could easily get a Final Four favourite tag since they are up there. In fact, if they maintain their course until Selection Sunday. But the thing about Gonzaga is that they perform well during the regular season and find themselves faltering once the post-season starts.

Proof of that is that Gonzaga has reached 16 consecutive NCAA tournaments but have failed to make it past the final eight.

This time however, it could be different. With a seasoned back court of Kevin Pangos, Gary Bell Jr. and Byron Wesley, a scoring machine in Kyle Wiltjer and a pair of big men in Przemek Karnowski and Domantas Sabonis, this year could be the best change for them to finally get that monkey off their back.

Northern Iowa is a team capable of pulling out shockers as well. The team is filled with experience and with smart basketball, they can certainly pull out a surprise heading into the Final Four.

Utah is another team that could make it all the way to the Final Four. Though they may lack the ceiling to go up against the other squads with bigs, they do have Delon Wright who is considered an NBA player competing in the NCAA due to his skills and ability to takeover when the need arises.

Hence, it doesn't matter if these three teams are not among the favourites. They have had their fair share of shortcomings. But this year could be different and upsets could occur.
