Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto" downloadable content (DLC) will be released as a standalone game.

The company has confirmed the launch in Europe and Japan at the time of this writing. A release in the United States is expected as well, but this is yet to be made official.

Apart from "Road to Boruto," the standalone full-game version of the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto" will come with the game and all the three expansion packs released for the game that added new costumes, story missions, and combination jutsu among others.

Speaking of combination jutsu, screenshots from the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" DLC were also released by Bandai Namco. One shows Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, Mitsuki, and Konohamaru Sarutobi collectively called Team Konohamaru performing their combination ultimate jutsu.

Although it has been reported a few weeks back, Mitsuki's addition to the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto" DLC has just been made official.

"You requested him multiple times since we announced the Road to Boruto expansion For Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4! It's now official: Mitsuki will join Boruto and Sarada as a new playable character included in the expansion," Bandai Namco wrote on the official Naruto Video Games blog.

Mitsuki's addition to "Road to Boruto" was inevitable, and the game publisher said that with his talent in the Ninja Arts, it is no wonder that he is a valuable addition to Team Konohamaru.

Meanwhile, Konohamaru will not be playable in the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto" DLC but he will only be included in the combination jutsu.

Bandai Namco teased that there will be more playable characters that are going to be added in the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," and fans will learn more about the identity of these fighters soon.

"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto" will be available to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Feb. 3 for $19.99.
