'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' DLC news: Season Pass, three add-ons

 Bandai Namco

Gamers will be treated to three DLC packs for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" as part of developer CyberConnect2 and Bandai Namco's effort to go big on its post-launch plans for the highly anticipated title.

On the official website of the upcoming title, the exciting content of the game's Season Pass was revealed. The DLC packs called Another Scenario Pack #1 and Another Scenario Pack #2 are almost the same except for two aspects.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" players get one three-hour scenario each from the packs as well as a new costume, an item set, 10 ninja info cards and 10 matching voices. Both packs have Combination Secret Technique – the former offers four while the latter gives away only three.

The best part about Another Scenario Pack #1, though, is that it also has 10 costumes from previous games in the franchise to give to players. It remains to be seen which gears will be included or from which specific game.

The third and final add-on content following the much-awaited launch of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is the Playable Character Pack. As the name suggests, players should get additional characters to the already massive (the biggest in the game's history) roster.

In this DLC are four playable characters as well as 10 more costumes featured in the title's predecessors. Like the first two DLC packs, this one will also bring in an item set, 10 ninja info cards and matching voices and three Combination Secret Techniques.

Each add-on costs 700 yen and those who buy the Season Pass (price yet to be determined) will score for themselves an exclusive Combination Secret Technique.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be launched for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on Feb. 4 in Japan, Feb. 5 in Europe and Feb. 9 in North America.
