If the new leak is to be believed, then one thing the new Moto X 2015 will have over its predecessors is an excellent camera. A new leak claims that the alleged 16-megapixel rear-facing cam on the new-generation device will come with optical image stabilization or OIS. With this technology, users will be able to take quality photos even in low-light conditions. Camera stability should not be an issue anymore.

This makes its camera on par with other flagships in the turf such as the all new Samsung Galaxy S6 and the LG G4. If the Motorola-made Nexus 6 is any indication, then this camera's stability technology will be of great quality.

While on the subject of cameras, the Moto X 2015 will have a formidable set of shooters if the speculations hit the mark. Partnered with the OIS-laden primary camera is a 5-megapixel snapper plastered on the front, which should take great selfies.

Rumor mills have also been chomping on the supposed specs of the future Motorola offering, leading them to claim that the Moto X 2015 will draw its power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, the same unit used on the LG G4. While this may not be the newest processor to use on the latest device in a great-selling lineup, this processor should do an outstanding job in keeping up with the mobile activities of its users.

Besides, when paired with a 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, as media outlets expect, the Moto X 2015 will definitely be a performer. Its 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display, which GSM Arena believes will be the same panel as the one in the Moto Droid Turbo, is also a treat and so is the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop that the handset will have onboard.

The screen is touted to render a 2K resolution or 1440 x 2560. This equates to 565 ppi pixel density, which should make it ultra sharp and crisp. This also marks a big upgrade from the Moto X 2014's display, which had a 1080p screen.

To maintain all this and to allow users to make use of all these features, the Moto X 2015 will pack a 3280 mAh battery unit. The device is expected to come out in September.
