"Destiny" players have long been waiting for the "House of Wolves" expansion pack, the second add-on to the hit first-person shooter video game. Fans already know that it will come Raid-less (a bummer for many), but Bungie has prepared an Arena for them instead, the one they call Prison of Elders.

To dish out a truckload of info about "House of Wolves" as well as the new gear, upgrades and locations it brings along, the "Destiny" maker will be conducting a Twitch broadcast on Wednesday, April 22, 11 a.m. Pacific, which will take players to places initially reachable through glitches.

As promised by Bungie Community Manager Eric Osborne, who also broke the news about the absence of a Raid in "House of Wolves," the game studio will be "kicking things off by revealing the upgrade path for your existing Exotic and Legendary gear," which players found difficult to have a handle on.

Bungie will also talk about The Reef, which was glimpsed in the recently released cinematic prologue trailer for "House of Wolves." The Reef is an Awoken settlement believed to be the next HUB world in "Destiny" and the game studio plans to walk players thorough it in the Twitch broadcast.

As for the Prison of Elders, Bungie will try to sway "Destiny" fans with the Arena by showing off gameplay footage for that on Apr. 29. As Osborne revealed, putting off a Raid for "House of Wolves" is not something they took "lightly."

He also promised that Bungie is working on one with a Raid to be released "later this year" so there's something to look forward to. For now, "Destiny" players have the new Arena as well as Trials of Osiris, which is said to be a competitive multiplayer event Bungie will introduce next week.

Those interested to see and know more about the "House of Wolves" or what they will get out of the alliance or simply curious about the possibility of ever visiting the Tower once more ought to be part of the upcoming Twitch live stream.

"Destiny Expanions II: House of Wolves" will be out May 19.
