Video game developer Capcom recently revealed that they will be integrating some "Street Fighter V" characters into their latest hit title, "Monster Hunter: World." This crossover announcement comes just one week after the release of the open-world monster-slaying video game, which aims to provide players with more options to customize their avatars in the style of Capcom's other influential fighting game title.

In the official teaser trailer, it can be seen that Ryu, one of the protagonists of "Street Fighter V," is psyching himself to go up against one of the fearsome dragon-like creatures that "Monster Hunter: World" has while equipped with a massive two-handed sword. Ryu is sporting the same look that he has for the "Street Fighter" titles, with his signature red bandana and gloves, along with his white gi.

On the other hand, Sakura is also shown at the latter half of the trailer, sporting her signature high school uniform. For the purposes of the trailer, she is equipped with a bow and arrow, shooting the dragon-like monster from a safe distance. Additionally, she was briefly shown to be wielding a double blade. At the final moments of the trailer, the two characters are featured side-by-side and pulling a "shoryuken" move on the dragon.

Players will be able to gain access to Ryu's gear in the coming weeks through a special quest that the game developers will be issuing soon. However, it is important to mention that the special quest, titled "Down the Dark, Muddy Path," will only be available to those who have "Street Fighter V" save data or even that of "Street Fighter V Arcade Edition."

Players will have to complete the quest and bring the necessary materials to a blacksmith to receive their Street Fighter-themed armor. Fortunately for those who do not own a copy of "Street Fighter V," the quests will be made available to everybody at a much later date, which will also include two additional quests that will grant players an opportunity to gain the gear of the fighting game's characters.

"Monster Hunter: World" is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
