Rumor has it that Microsoft finally got off the ground for Surface Pro 3's successor. Even though it faced news about the alleged discontinuation of the Surface Pro line months back, the titanic software company is sticking to its goal in sending shockwaves to the tablet and laptop showground once more with another hybrid on the way, although they announced all that in the most subtle manner.
"We are pleased to share that the following Surface Pro 3 accessories are designed with our product roadmap to be compatible with the next generation of the Pro line Surface," Surface General Manager Brian Hall shared on Microsoft Surface Blog.
Realty Today has broached the good sales performance of the Surface Pro 3 in the market. Master Herald adds that even for its not-too-economical price, buyers still feel that they spent their money on the right device. In turn, it is only expected that Microsoft will put up another refresh for the device collection. While the company remains hushed about their plans for the Surface Pro 4, tech outlets already managed to paint a picture of what it will look like when it materializes.
Citing unnamed online sources, Realty Today reported that the Surface Pro 4 will come in different sizes — a stunt to generate good sales apparently. It is said that there will be a smaller one, which will feature an 8-inch screen. This is allegedly Microsoft's bludgeon in knocking out its rivals' tablets. The other one will border on the build of a hefty laptop that will be about 13 to 14 inches. Master Herald is uncertain if the bigger dimensions may actually bring a change in the device's load. Surface Pros are not very much lightweight although the device seems to adapt more of a tablet make, the site adds.
Gospel Herald, as cited by Realty Today, claims that the Surface Pro 4 will likely show up after the newest operating system, Windows 10, goes on a rollout. This will then make it the first gadget to have it onboard. The exact date for the launch of Windows 10 is still unannounced so the release date remains difficult to figure out. But for a fair estimation, 2015 is the year users would want to keep a close eye on.
