According to a post by Realty Today, the release date is expected to be somewhere between June to October this year, while another, Maine News Online hints at its coming this July which will coincide with the unveiling of the Windows 10.

In short, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 could be out in the market somewhere by the third quarter. Making the rumors more believable is the fact that its predecessor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is offering price cuts and sales.

With regards to choices, potential buyers can reportedly choose from among three variants: 14, 12 and 8-inch models.

It will boast of a 2K display which will be further supported by an Intel Core M processor, 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage space. The tablet will have LTE and streaming capabilities while also carrying an 8MP and 3.5MP camera.

With regards to the operating system, the Surface Pro 4 may likely run on the Windows 10, placing the earlier rumor of a July release by Maine News Online sensible.

There is no word on official pricing although Tech Radar hints that it could probably play in the vicinity of $880 to 1,990.
