F1 legend Michael Schumacher continues to recover slowly which could translate in the need for funds to do so.

After selling Schumacher's private jet for about 25 million pounds, the Schumachers have now sold his Norwegian holiday home for £2 million to an undisclosed buyer. However, Petter Birkrem from the PRIVATmegleren estate agent did confirm that the buyer was not Norwegian.

The said home was a cherished family getaway located at the north of Oslo in Trysil since the 1990s. It was clarified however that the sale was something in the works even before the F1 racer was injured in a horrific skiing accident in December of 2013. He is now rehabilitating at home in Lake Geneva, Switzerland.

Among the features that the 6,940 sq.m. foot Norwegian home carried included a gym, sauna, whirlpool baths and a luxurious kitchen. All of these were part of Michael's specifications back in the 90s.

Schumacher's life changed in December 29, 2013 when the racing champion smashed his head on hidden rocks while skiing at French resort Meribel. Schumi fell into a coma before waking up in June last year. He left the hospital in September, 2014 and is now under the care of 15 specialists at a specially crafted medical suite at his £35 million mansion in Gland, Switzerland.
