As the adventures of the blind crimefighter nears, the cast of the much-awaited Netflix adaptation of "Marvel's Daredevil" is slowly nearing completion as the villainous side of the show is building up.

It is already known that Charlie Cox, who will play as the superhero in the Web series, will be joined by Vincent D'Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, Ayelet Zurer, Bob Gunton, Toby Leonard Moore and Vondie Curtis-Hall. But there are six new baddies to watch out for.

Three new characters bear connection to the Kingpin. First is an influential businesswoman named Madame Gao to be played by "Law & Order: SVU" star Wai Ching Ho. The other two are Russian brothers named Vladimir and Anatoly, roles snagged by Gideon Emery and Nikolai Nikolaeff.

Matt Gerald from "Avatar" will play local machinist Melvin Potter who, as Marvel describes, is "caught between a rock and a hard place." Also, Rob Morgan from "Person of Interest" will be Turk Barrett, a criminal who is satisfied with small-time contraventions. Lastly, "Hawaii Five-0" actor Peter Shinkoda is set to play as Nobu, a Japanese businessman "with an agenda all his own."

"With an already tremendous cast, these six actors help to fully flesh out Matt Murdock's world and give life to Hell's Kitchen," executive producer and Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb said to Comingsoon.net. "We've been blessed to work with such amazing actors on this series to create a truly remarkable first season."

Meanwhile, executive producer and showrunner Steven S. DeKnight expressed the "honor" of being able to create a whole project with "talented and diverse group of artists who vividly bring these characters to life."

"The challenge in bringing 'villains' to the screen is always in portraying them as three-dimensional characters. Our actors exceeded all expectations in this regard, crafting deeply flawed, wonderfully human antagonists," DeKnight further told Comingsoon.net.

"Marvel's Daredevil" will premiere on Netflix on April 10.
