Marvel Agents of SHIELD spoilers, plot news: Secret Warriors emerge to center stage

Marvel Secret Warriors Wikipedia

The existence of Inhumans and the use of Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) somehow divided the Agents of SHIELD. With Jiaying out of the picture, the whole conflict (or misunderstanding?) is far from resolved.

And heading into season 3 of the said Marvel Series, things seem to be heating up. New characters are only to be expected but so do new twists. Among the new characters pegged to come up in season 3 are the Secret Warriors, the same comic-based team made up of super-powered agents that features Nick Fury.

It seems that the Secret Warriors will be the team Coulson is planning to put up in the wake of new threats that perhaps the Agents of SHIELD cannot face alone. Much of their potential adversaries were seen in season 2 and it was pretty clear that with the existence of superhumans with special abilities, the team will have its work cut out for them.

And as Coulson explores and finds these superhumans, the dark side (Hydra?) are doing the same. Apparently these special powered beings could ante up things a bit on whoever gets to them first, making season 3 pretty much something to look forward to.

Skye (Chloe Bennett) is certain to be one of the Secret Warriors and will likely be the new leader of the super-powered group. But how does this pan up with his friends at SHIELD?

Where does Lincoln fit into all of this? Word has it that the Inhuman will have a pretty busy role in season 3 so would he and Skye be busy with the said Secret Warriors?

While the new team may seem to be built to reinforce the Agents of SHIELD, one cannot help wondering the internal conflicts that may arise. And of all the agents, how will Skye's transition be?
