"Married at First Sight" season 4 couple Heather and Derek made history on the show by calling it quits in the middle of the experiment.
In the next episode titled "In Sickness and in Health," the two will look back at their short journey of being newlyweds. There's no word if this will help them reaffirm their marriage, though.
As what has been revealed in the previous episode of "Married at First Sight" season 4, despite Derek's willingness to give it another shot, Heather has completely shut her doors.
Thankfully, this is not the case for the other two married couples in "Married at First Sight" season 4, but that does not mean it is any easier for them either.
For one, Nick and Sonia's marriage remains stagnant due to lack of communication. The latter hopes that her husband will communicate with her more, which Nick believes he is already doing.
In a clip from "Married at First Sight" season 4 episode 9, Sonia urged Nick to "open up," which appears to have drawn the line for him. "How the f— do I open up?" he tells her.
In the confessional, Nick said "I don't like her. That's opening up. I can't open up any more than that. I don't think she's attractive and I'm not attracted to her, and that is me opening up to the fullest f— extent."
From the looks of it, Nick is not keen on continuing the marriage either. This means that Sonia's attempts may not change his mind about her and their relationship.
Meanwhile, things are looking great for Lillian and Tom who are getting closer and closer as "Married at First Sight" season 4 progresses.
They have gotten so comfortable with each other that they are already talking about bathroom rules. In a clip from the show, it shows Lillian allowing her husband to answer the call of nature when he badly needs to even though she is in the shower.
In "Married at First Sight" season 4 episode 9, Tom will celebrate his birthday and Lillian plans to work hard to make it memorable.
