Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin) and Gus (Rene Rosado) will finally talk it out in the sixth episode of "Major Crimes" season 6.

According to the synopsis for "Conspiracy Theory: Part 1," the couple confront issues in their relationship at last.

Season 5 of "Major Crimes" saw Gus leaving town for Napa Valley, when he accepted a new job. He wanted to have his boyfriend with him in his new journey, and even picked a university for Rusty to continue his studies.

But Rusty wanted to stay in town, and make his adoptive mother Sharon (Mary McDonnell) proud with a UCLA diploma. They agreed to a long-distance relationship instead, but the previous episodes showed it is not working as well as they hoped.

Meanwhile in the show's criminal division, a well-known woman rights activist lawyer (Nam McNamara) is found dead, and the Los Angeles Police Department has a number of high-profile suspects. These include her son (Fran Kranz), her ex-husband (Daniel Hugh Kelly), a film director (Lenny Jacobson), whose career was destroyed because of her, and a former football player (Chris McKenna), owner of sports bars/restaurant chain, Tackles, which showcases scantily clad women.

"Major Crimes" hopes to further pull up the show's ratings with the upcoming episode. That is after episode 5, "Sanctuary City Part 5," drew a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 age demographic, the best rating of the season to date, according to reports.

That is also a 25 percent rise in viewership as compared to the previous episode, with some 2.4 million viewers recorded.

"Major Crimes" season 6 will be the last for the criminal drama. In the official announcement, series creator James Duff said, "The whole company of Major Crimes is dedicated to making [this] the best season yet." Fans can expect more thrilling mysteries and explosive discoveries until the show officially closes in January 2018.

"Major Crimes" season 6 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on TNT.
