There are a host of issues that envelope the stars of VH1 series "Love & Hip Hop: New York." This time, a new bedlam drags the name of cast newbie Diamond Strawberry and her now ex-boyfriend Cisco Rosado. The new reality star claims that the latter urged her to move to the Big Apple for the show and her obliging was a mere favor for Rosado, slamming the man's claims.

"This is not something I necessarily wanted. I did it for Cisco. We were dating and they were interested in him and he's like 'Please babe do this for me,'" Strawberry shared on Vlad TV as quoted by Mstarz.

Along with the couple's concurrence, Strawberry had Rosado assure her that she is not up for "surprises." This, however, quickly turned bad when her 6-month-old baby was involved in the show. Strawberry then reiterated Rosado's pleading, as he pledged that their move to New York would help her career take off and their relationship to become steadier.

"Cisco had been begging me to move out here. He had been promising me all these things. 'When you get here, we're gonna talk about engagement. We're gonna be living together. I have all these modeling gigs lined up for you,'" she retold.

However, when they reached New York, the "story changes" and she saw "who this man really was." Her mother is one to say "I told you so" as Strawberry recalled how she strongly opposed the idea while adding how he sees Rosado as the "player type."

"She saw straight through Cisco from day one," the star said of her mother.

Her mom said that she would be better off staying in Los Angeles. However, she "followed her heart" and believed her ex's promises. Now, Strawberry implores fans to see what happens next in the fifth season of "Love & Hip Hop: New York."

"I seen what the limelight can do to people and that's not what I aspire to be — a public figure. I can't lie, I want to be successful, but I didn't want it this way. Now that I got it, I'm dealing with it. I'm making the best of it," the star added.
