'Love and Hip Hop New York' news: Mendeecees Harris pleads guilty, Jhonni Blaze returning in season 6

All was supposedly good for lovebirds Mendeecees Harris and Yandy Smith, who are set to get married next month. Their wedding would even have its own VH1 special titled "Love & Hip Hop Live: The Wedding." However, the couple's future doesn't look too hopeful at this moment.

In a report from TMZ, Harris has pleaded guilty to running a drug ring in upstate New York. Right now, he is reportedly working with his lawyers to get him a plea deal. The punishment for this case is five to 40 years federal imprisonment or he can pay a fine of $5 million. According to the report, Harris has been running the said drug ring for seven years running, and has been trafficking drugs like heroin and cocaine. He got busted last year, but got off with a $200,000 bail, which Smith paid.

The good news is that the wedding will push through this May. But come August, Harris will be sentenced.

In other news, someone's is shaking up "LHHNY" season 6 and it's none other than Jhonni Blaze. The season 5 regular decided to continue on with the show despite the drama she had with Rich Dollaz in the previous season.

She had an interview with VladTV where she was asked if she will return for the new season, to which she answered, "Absolutely."

She then added, "Hey were really scared to put me on and I don't blame them... Because of my background... Going off, beating up people, fighting and stuff and they gave me that chance... Especially Rich. Not because I begged or anything. He was just straight up like, 'Yo we might go through our ups and downs but nobody can knock your talent,' and a lot of the cast members from like Yandy [Smith-Harris] to Peter [Gunz] they were just like, 'Yo she could be a lot of stuff but ya'll can't knock that girl's talent.' That means a lot to me."

After explaining, she admitted that she will do things differently in the new season. She will focus on herself more and her music instead of the fighting.

Capping off the interview, she said she's not perfect and she's not trying to make people appreciate her, adding, "It's either you love me or you don't. So those are the things that's going on with me. Just trying to be a better person like I said."
