The sixth season of the Netflix drama show "Longmire" is slated to be the last. The trailer has been released, and alluded to a lot of what the fans can expect in the concluding season.

The trailer is full of tense moments between the actors, and even suggests a dire situation for Henry Standing Bear, played by Lou Diamond Phillips. In the trailer that was released, it is emphasized that Henry is left for dead in the middle of the desert. The main protagonist of the show, Walt Longmire, played by Robert Taylor, states that if he does not find Henry soon, then he might just end up dead.

However, the trailer also showed that Robert is still undecided on what he wants to do when he retires as the sheriff of Absaroka County. Additionally, Vic, played by Katee Sackhoff, is revealed to be pregnant.

The trailer seems to promise a fitting ending for what has been a beloved series. In a report by Blasting News, the sixth season will have 10 episodes, which is less than what audiences are accustomed to. After a considerable number of months since season 5 was released, fans have continued to be patient, especially after news that the sixth season would be the last.

Malachi, played by Graham Greene, was also briefly shown in the trailer, and appeared to be motivated purely by revenge. According to Inqisitr, in the latter part of the fifth season, it is shown that Malachi kidnapped Henry after he had lost everything that he had after being fired from the casino. This leaves two main questions for fans; will Walt be able to rescue Henry on time? And even if he does, what does Malachi plan on next?

According to The Reporter Times, it has been promised that the last season is "going to be epic." The shooting of season 6 started back in March 22 this year.

The sixth and final season of "Longmire" will be released on Nov. 17 on Netflix.
