The LG V20 was unveiled last week and some of its features include a large display screen, removable battery, microSD card slot, and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It is said that the device's camera and audio capabilities are its best features.
The LG V20 contains three cameras, one at the front, and two at the back. The front facing camera is pegged at 5-MP, but the lens makes the difference on this phone. It contains a wide-angle lens that can completely cover 120-degree viewing angle. As the company said on its website, its phone can take the picture of the whole squad in one shot. The addition of the Auto Shot feature makes it even more convenient.
At the back of the device, there is an 8-MP camera that offers a 135-degree viewing angle, as well as a 16-MP one for taking standard photos. Users can then capture those breathtaking views either in panoramic or standard mode.
ZDNet added that the LG V20 uses the Steady Record 2.0, an optical image stabilization feature that produces great looking videos. The addition of three microphones on the device will surely capture every sound during 4K video recordings.
According to Trusted Reviews, the LG V20 is the first smartphone to feature a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, more commonly seen in high-end audio gears. It can support the majority of the lossless music file types like FLAC, AIFF, ALAC, and DSD. The company also boasts that their device can eliminate ambient noise up to 50 percent.
In terms of audio, music could not be enjoyed more via a headphone, wired or wireless, but one can also opt to use the phone's built-in speakers, which can still provide decent quality even if at maximum volume.
Apart from its camera and audio features, the V20 offers a 5.7-inch IPS screen, a Snapdragon 820 processor under the hood, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, 3,200 mAh battery, and a USB Type-C port. It also offers an MIL-STD 810G drop test certification.
LG has not confirmed the official release date for the V20, but the company is speculated to announce it this month.
