The LG G Flex 3 was rumored to arrive early this year. It was thought that the South Korean tech giant have closed the book on its Flex series when nothing showed up. Now the company is hinting at an appearance in the upcoming IFA 2016 in Berlin, which will be held from September 2 to 7.

PhoneSSpot reported that the LG G Flex 3 will come with a 5.5-inch curved display, similar to its predecessor, but with a QHD quality 1440 x 2560 screen resolution. It is said to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC chip, paired with 4 GB of RAM. The internal storage will be offered in 32 GB and 64 GB variants. The internal storage is also said to be expandable via a microSD slot.

Dual lenses are also anticipated to be coming with the latest Flex model. The units will carry 16 MP and 8 MP main camera lenses. The front-facing cam is said to be carrying an 8 MP sensor, which is adequate for taking selfies and making conference calls.

Additionally, it is also rumored that the phone will still carry the "self-healing " technology on its back cover. This feature is a special coating that is able to hide minor scratches within 10 seconds. The phone is also rumored to be coming with a modular form factor, similar to the company's G5 that was launched last February.

An Android N operating system will be loaded on to the rumored device if the mobile OS is released prior to the phone. If not, it will come with the Marshmallow version.

It is too early to tell what the final specifications of the LG GFlex 3 will be. The company has not acknowledged whether this model exists or not. However, fans are expecting more information and leaks to come in the next few months.
