'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' release date, gameplay details revealed in promo posters

 Call of Duty's official website

New leaks revealed that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will come out on Nov. 6. The information came from a leaked image posted on NeoGAF that shows a promotional poster display from GameStop, which is believed to be distributed to its stores today.

The print also revealed that the newest and most-awaited installment in the ever-growing zombie mythology mixed with bio-hacking horrors will have a public beta and gamers who pre-order it from the retailer will get a slot.

Based on the leaked image, the title will likely be exclusive to current-gen consoles. The poster makes no mention of its possible arrival to the PS3 and Xbox 360; instead, it may end up in the Wii U as its website allows a Nintendo login.

Gameplay-wise, more leaked promotional prints gave a much-clearer view of what players can expect in the upcoming game. One is that players can assemble a team of four to tackle a new co-op mission online that will utilize the same network communications for the game's online mode. In the co-op mission, players are promised a "cinematic, arena-style" gameplay.

The leak also detailed what players can do in the "leveled-up" multiplayer mode of the game, one of which is a new "specialist" character system, which allows players to rank up. Furthermore, the print touts that gamers can "fluidly move through the environment with finesse, using controlled thrust jumps, slides, and mantling abilities in a multitude of combinations," promising complete control of the weapons and a new movement system.

As for the characters in the game, everything is said to be entirely customizable. Players will be able to shape up their characters by picking their preferred abilities and outfitting them with the best weapons and garb to complete the makings of a warrior in a zombie-plagued world. Speaking of zombies, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be introducing newfound horrors mixed effectively with depth, full-XP based progression system, and potential to be replayed.

No doubt, these are the makings of what is said to be "the most immersive and ambitious Call of Duty Zombies to date."
