There are rumors that the "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released for the PlayStation 4 only. This began when the listing of the game on the Japanese Xbox Store vanished.

Gamers with the Microsoft console started to worry that they won't be able to play the game on their Xbox One following the disappearance of the listing.

Interestingly, "Kingdom Hearts 3" still has a listing on the Microsoft Store. The webpage of developer Square Enix for the game still also indicates that the game will be coming to the Xbox One.

Game Rant says that this could merely be a glitch on the Xbox Store and will be rectified soon. The site, however, noted that it is still possible that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be a PS4 exclusive.

This is simply because every installment in the mega-popular video game franchise was only released to the PlayStation consoles. In fact, the "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" is only set for a PS4 release.

On the subject of the remaster collection, it was recently pushed back to January 2017 from its original December release date. This was announced at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) where Square Enix showed a new trailer.

Game director Tetsuya Nomura has advised fans before that this collection is something fans should pick up as it sets the stage for "Kingdom Hearts 3."

It is unclear if the delay of the high definition remaster collection will affect the release of the highly-anticipated installment. There's no way of knowing for now since "Kingdom Hearts 3" has no release date yet.

It is, however, rumored that it will arrive by early next year, which suggests that fans can go straight to the game after they blow through "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue."

"Kingdom Hearts 3" will not feature "Final Fantasy" worlds, but it will be loaded with Disney realms. Nomura told Gamepur that the game is "overwhelmingly big," making for hours and hours of gameplay.
