'Kingdom Hearts 3': 'Marvel' and 'Star Wars' characters to crossover?

"Kingdom Hearts 3" may see a major crossover after all. With Disney's license over the biggest and most popular universes, namely "Marvel" and "Star Wars," the possibility of each coming together may come to light after all. Tai Yusue, co-director of the much-awaited installment hinted that when it comes to the make of "Kingdom Hearts 3," everything is within reach and nothing is "off-limits."

"I can't go into specifics, but there's a lot of new Disney stuff and we have our plates full. There's a lot to consider – we're looking at all of Disney, the new ones as well, they have a lot of pull and draw," Yasue told Kotaku in a recent interview, as quoted by PlayStation Lifestyle.

Yasue reveals that it is much of a dilemma to execute the rather big task. With "so many wonderful concepts," the team seems to be struggling with choosing which character ends up in the much-awaited "Kingdom Hearts 3" crossover.

"We have to come up with a world that has a lot of originality. We want variety in our new Kingdom Hearts, so we don't want too many of one sort of world, that would look the same," Yasue stated.

Previously, rumors implied that Darth Vader, Iron Man and Elsa will turn up in the newest installment, and this was heavily talked about for a long time and even up to now. Game Creator Tetsuya Nomura previously dropped hints on the upcoming collision between their worlds and it is only recently that the odds of that happening has become greater and reachable.

In a recent fan event conducted by Square Enix in Los Angeles, gamers were teased of a new clip for "Kingdom Hearts 3." However, it is not meant to be for public consumption, for now.

In the meantime, everyone can get "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX," which went on a fresh rollout last Dec.2.
