Khloe Kardashian confirms pregnancy

Reality star Khloe Kardashian confirms she is pregnant after months of rumors.

In an Instagram post, the 33-year-old socialite announced on Wednesday that she is carrying her first child with basketball player boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Kardashian showed off her baby bump, which she and Thompson are both holding. "My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby," she gushed in the caption.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was overwhelming with joy as she thanked her beau for a number of things, particularly for making her a mother. "I still at times can't believe that our love created life," she said.

To her fans, Kardashian explained that they took their time revealing her pregnancy as they wanted to enjoy it privately as much as they could, sharing it first only with close family and friends.

Fans were elated with the news, with thousands congratulating the couple for the pregnancy. Some, however, could not help but notice the big ring on Kardashian's ring finger, and whether another announcement is coming around.

The TV personality has been sporting that ring for a while, but sources tell Us Weekly that despite the bun in the oven, there are no plans for marriage yet.

One insider said Kardashian never found marriage as a prerequisite to having kids. "Khloe hasn't typically cared about getting married before having a baby," the source said in September.

A month later, another insider shared that "marriage is definitely in the cards." "They are just waiting for the right time to move forward. Khloe doesn't want to rush into anything," the source added.

The reality star's mother, Kris Jenner, shares in her daughter's excitement. In an Instagram post, she said, "God is so good!! I am beyond excited! What a blessing!"

Amid Kardashian's pregnancy announcement, there is one more family member who is yet to confirm or deny her pregnancy, the family's youngest daughter Kylie Jenner. If the rumors are true, mother Jenner has more than one reason to be "beyond excited" this Christmas.
