Kate Middleton pregnancy update: Baby due date nears, Duchess drops some beauty products

The Duchess of Cambridge will give birth in a few weeks, and many are excited to see the second royal baby. Her due date is set in April and she is doing all necessary preparations prior to the arrival of Prince George's younger sibling, one of which is modifying her beauty regimen.

Kate Middleton has cut out some beauty products and is working on getting a good old tan while keeping her baby out of harm's (or chemical's) way. The royal mom has reportedly always turned to St. Tropez spray tan for her beauty fix but she would not want her baby to suffer complications by breathing in the mist from the product, so now she uses DHA-free Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Bronze.

"Kate is very cautious of products and treatments," an insider told US Weekly. "Baby's health comes first."

And who says one cannot fight wrinkles while heavy with child? Certainly not Prince William's classy spouse. The Duchess still looks good even if her due date is nearing.

"Kate continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regimen," the source told the aforementioned publication. "She loves the effect it has on her skin."

The source added that even Kate's mother Carole Middleton loves the product.

But it is not all about preserving beauty. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also working with a special U.K. security to ensure Kate's safety and that means keeping an eye on 220 of her potential stalkers. Former Head of Royal Protection and retired Metropolitan Police officer Dai Davies told The Mirror that it is during full-scale occasions like marriage or giving birth that incidents involving those happen.

Kate also plans to get back to working with charity events as quickly as possible and with this, she had to do something she has not done before, and that is to hire a maternity nurse. Meanwhile, the royal mom is still keeping the baby's gender a secret but she revealed that the little one is "always kicking."
