Kate Gosselin has been fired from "Celebrity Apprentice." However, the publicity she got by making it into the show surely sparked a lot of personal and family issues, one of which is the question of who was taking care of her eight children while she was filming. Ex-husband Jon Gosselin talked to Mario Lopez of "Extra" last year and said that he was.

"I had the kids while she was filming. For three weeks. It was great," Jon said.

A source for Radar Online corroborated this, saying that Jon had the kids for three weeks, but he wasn't alone in caring for them. He reportedly had help from others.

However, the moment that Kate was done with "Celebrity Apprentice," she went to "The Wendy Williams Show" for an interview where she contradicted Jon's statement.

In the interview, Kate said, "No, he didn't [watch them]. They were with two essential pseudo family members that they've known forever. They actually live in Montana now. I brought them out to stay the entire time with my kids."

So, who was telling the truth?

Further, Kate won't divulge the truth about her personal life either. It has been a long-time rumor that she is dating Jeff Prescott, co-founder of Dreamstime. She continues to deny the rumor and gave a statement to People.

"I'm like, 'Really?' I get it. Everyone wants me to be dating. I hear it loud and clear. It just doesn't happen that easily, but I want it just as much as everyone else does," Kate said.

On the other hand, Prescott was all praises about Kate in his talk with Radar Online. He said that Kate is a "loving, caring mother" who always puts her children first.

He went on to say, "She's a single mother with a deadbeat father in the picture and eight kids. She has a lot on her plate. She does really well with what she has. The image people portray and who she really is are very different."

Despite being embroiled in rumors, there is no denying that Kate has been working hard for her kids.
