Kanye West and Kim Kardashian news: Couple become 'almost' victims of burglary

Power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West almost got robbed in their Bel Air mansion in Los Angeles, California. Fortunately, the robber did not get past the garage since he only rummaged through the vehicles. Thanks to the surveillance cameras, the perpetrator was eventually caught and brought in by the local authorities.

In a report by TMZ, the burglary occurred at around 7 a.m. EDT. The burglar never even got a foot in the door of Kardashian and West's Bel Air mansion but he was able to scrounge three cars looking for valuables to steal. In the end, he was only able to get a hold of a mobile device which belonged to one of the family's staff members. However, the burglar did not just target the West family, and proceeded to do the same to their next door neighbor's cars.

Despite initial thoughts of only having one suspect, it seems that there may actually be two. According to E! News, there are now two suspects that are being investigated for the acts of theft. The Los Angeles Police Department stated that witnesses saw someone in hiding, probably scouting for any passersby, while one of them searched for valuables in the vehicles. Both of them were reportedly seen fleeing together after the burglary.

Eventually, the suspects were chased away by the local authorities, which means that the two suspects are still at large. According to Mirror, the phone that was snagged from one of the vehicles outside of the West residence was eventually dropped by one of the suspects since they were in a hurry to get away from the cops. When they attempted to do the same to Kathy Griffin's cars, they only took a purse which was found later on the side of the road.

It is quite fortunate that no one was hurt during the attempted robberies. Additionally, not much had been stolen as well.
